Meera Arun is a graduate of Fine Arts from Chitra Kala Parishat. Her expertise in various art forms is extremely multifaceted. She specializes in portraits, unafraid to explore any and all possible mediums, as well as often delving into the rich culture and refined techniques of more traditional art and painting styles. She has received training in makeup from Seema Tabassum, a freelance hair and makeup artist from Mumbai and has also completed a diploma in Complete Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics from the prestigious Delamar Academy, London.
Meera has worked as an illustrator for the Biographical book on the former chief minister of Karnataka Sri S.R. Bommai.
She has been conducting creative art classes for ladies and children for past 15 years in an inclusive set up. She has worked with differently abled to facilitate their creative skills into a successful vocation. She has conducted workshops to make eco friendly Ganesha for a past 5 years.
Meera has been organizing clay doll making workshop during Darara where more than 400 people participated. Meera not only conducts jewellery making workshop but makes custom jewellery. Meera has worked as a costume designer for the Telugu movie Sri Manjunatha, directed by Sri K. Raghavendra Rao. Meera has been trained on SFX, prosthetics, beauty and Concept makeup.
Meera is an environmental activist who has conducted various programs to create awareness about Solid waste management, "Say no to Plastic" , eco friendly Ganesha.
She has taught the public and street vendors in Banashankari to make bags out of newspaper instead of plastic bags. She has encouraged the residents of her community to compost their wet waste and/or feed it to the cows under "Govige Mevu" drive.
She has conducted an awareness program in Lalbagh for children on environment day by conducting art competition and an installation for people to understand the long term effect of plastic usage. She has been encouraging the residents of Navachetana Trust by buying handmade paper bags and distributing the bags to the road side vendors.
She has conducted several awareness programmes on Solid waste management and composting in the Banashankari 2nd stage park which was supported by the prominent residents of the area and also the corporator.
MEERA ARUN & ARUN SAGAR

Meera Arun is married to Actor and Art Director Arun Sagar, she has worked with him on the set design and costume design for the movie Sri Manjunatha, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. She has been running an art school Vruksha School of Fine Arts successfully for the past 15 years.
Arun Sagar is an Indian theatre and film artist, Art Director and Comedian known for his work mainly in Kannada theatre and Film Industry. He was trained at Rangayana Mysore in both Art Direction and Acting. He is one of the leading Art Directors in the Kannada Film Industry and he has been recognized for his excellent art direction starting from his very first movie Bhoomi Geetha, which won the national award for the best environmental film. He has won the Karnataka State Award for his work in the film Sri Manjunatha.
